LAPSE Magazine

APR 2019-

LAPSE is an 80-page faux school magazine. The first issue's theme is temperature.

The issue features articles related to the body, food and its effect on climate change in relation to temperature. As the brief mentions this to be a school magazine, I have also come up with articles related to both school and temperature, such as an interview segment with Lowercase (the café at LASALLE) titled ‘Trash Talk with Lowercase’. The colour scheme is inspired by heat maps and articles are arranged from hot to cold. The front and back covers are holographic as they are able to capture the many hues we associate with temperature while giving off both hot and cool vibes depending on the angle we view them from.
